Oyeleye Feranmi, a Nigerian contemporary artist, was born in the western part of Nigeria, Oyo, Oyo state. His passion for art emerged during his childhood days, by spending countlesshours sketching, drawing and tracing images from his Basic Science textbook. He receivedhis basic and elementary education in Oyo, where he honed his artistic skills.To further develophis talent, Feranmi sought advancedtraining under theguidance of Oluwafemi Afolabi, (an experiencedartist.) Theseexperiences played a pivotal role in enhancingand developinghisartistic abilities, byalso allowing himto cultivate andkeep on exploringhis unique artisticstyle.
